Hello, I am Ana. Solicitor, Notary Public & Law Society Accredited Mediator.
Throughout my career I have seen first-hand how important and beneficial it is for clients who do not understand the legal process, to have someone who they can trust to manage their matters for them.
This led me to set up Castelo Solicitors and Castelo Notaries in 2013, and I am extremely proud of how quickly Castelo has become established as a recognised name in the industry.
As well as being established as a renowned law firm and notary public in England, we are proud to also be the bridge between English and Portuguese legal services.
We are registered as solicitors with the Portuguese ‘Ordem dos Advogados’ and have a Portuguese Legal Executive as well as an associated office in Portugal to provide our British clients with a Portuguese service in a language that they understand.

Hello, I am Miriam. Family Lawyer and Duty Accredited Solicitor.
I have a keen interest in criminology and specialise in Criminal Law. I am also an accredited duty solicitor having completed both the Police Station Representatives Accreditation Scheme and Magistrates Court Duty Accreditation Scheme.
This means that if a person is arrested on suspicion of a criminal offence I’m able to attend the police station whilst they are in custody to consult with them and to act as their solicitor from the very beginning of their case.
It also means that if a person has already been charged with an offence I am qualified to represent them at the Magistrates Courts, Crown Courts, and at Appeal Courts.
With a career spanning over 16 years, diversification was always on the agenda and so in 2015 I broadened my expertise to now include a specialism in divorce as well as family and children law – an area of law which is particularly close to my heart.
